There aren't that many mini golf or putt-putt flash games anymore it seems. I feel that years ago there was tons and it was a popular sub-genre but that fad seems to have died down lately. Well, Crazy Golf-Ish by newcomer Ish-Games is here to hopefully bring it back. In case you aren't catching the puns here, Crazy Golf-Ish is a mini golf game themed with goldfish and in fact it seems that the goldfish is going to be the theme/mascot for newcomer developing team Ish-Games.

Crazy Golf-Ish has two modes of gameplay. The first is typical mini golf. Hit your goldfish into the fish bowl at the end in as little shots as possible. The other mode is more of a puzzle game where there are coins scattered about and you need to not only get the goldfish into the bowl but hopefully hit the coins to get the three star rating. Levels are all the same, however, for both modes of play.

In terms of the goldfish theme for Crazy Golf-Ish I thought it was very clever. Obstacles and other crazy environmental factors are all fish and goldfish related. Hitting your fish into water results not in a penalty but rather your fish swimming away to escape. There are hooks scattered about which can snag your fish ball in a gruesome manner and there are toilets which act like teleportation portals. Gameplay wish I think Crazy Golf-Ish did alright. The physics were a little too sensitive and the fish would bounce a lot. This really hurt when it came to some of the level designs but I feel that if that were toned down the designs would have been much more tighter. Overall though, Crazy Golf-Ish was a fun mini golf game to play and kill some time with.
