Genre: RPG
As you may have guessed from the name. Dungeons of Kong features characters who work at Kongregate such as Greg and more. Gameplay wise, Dungeons of Kong is a fairly typical roguelike in Nerdook's style. You fashion a team of three people and choose between a host of different classes. Some are fairly typical like cleric and ranger and others are more rare such as a shadowman. Each character has different skills and the combinations are immense.
Once you have your team assembled you are shown a map view divided into different boxes. Part of the gameplay is clicking each box to "move" along the dungeon. Occasionally you'll run into something noteworthy and a text box will pop up explaining your choices and giving you options. Other times you find enemies you can fight. Fighting sequences in Dungeons of Kong is fought on a tactical RPG field where you and your enemies take turns moving your characters. Your characters have two moves and for the most part enemies only have one move. Taking time and fighting monsters raises your terror level which once it reaches 100 you have to face the ultimate boss. So the end goal is to level up your party as much as possible and move down the themed dungeon levels to face the end boss. Dungeons of Kong is a relatively fast playthrough but it has a crazy amount of replayability to keep you entertained. Overall, Dungeons of Kong has already solidified itself as one of the better roguelikes for browser/free gaming out there.
