Demons in a dungeon...haven't seen that before. While it is true that the overall theme behind Greg Anims' latest game, Demonic Dungeon, isn't the most unique it still looks like it would be a fun top down shooter flash game.

The overall idea behind Demonic Dungeon is one that has been done time and time again but one that is fun to play. A top down shooter where you have a multitude of weird weapons against crazy enemies. Demonic Dungeon follows this formula and offers you a typical shotgun, buzz saw gun, wasp gun, and more to attack skeletons, frogs and flaming skeletons. I also should mention I loved the graphics in Demonic Dungeon and without playing it the game looks great and professionally done.

However...once you actually sit down and play Demonic Dungeon is where it starts to fall apart. A big issue is the difficulty of it. There are 30 levels and I played over half the game and just got bored because it was so easy. I soley used the shotgun and there was no difference. I tried other weapons and found them pointless seeing as how I could just spam the shotgun and win. Enemies were easy and not all that varied. Weapon upgrades were frequent and cheap to buy which also made Demonic Dungeon super easy. Other issues I found were some slight glitches where objects would get stuck in walls and how all the objects seemed to float around unnecessarily. Overall though, Demonic Dungeon was fun to play for a bit and has some potential but just was not properly tested.
