First the good. I love the graphical style of Hipster Kickball as, you all know, I love PixelJam's style and Hipster Kickball is no different. I also really find the hipster theme very humorous as I've been called a hipster before and in my defense I do get a lot of the jokes. Plus one for Hipster Kickball on that front.

However, even though Hipster Kickball has graphics and a humorous theme going on, that will not save it from horrible controls. The issue with Hipster Kickball on this front is it tries to do too much for a little flash game. If your team is pitching you have to adjust the angle of your pitch, power of the pitch and then have to control characters to catch/run down the ball as well as then run and throw it to other players to get people out. I like the admiration of the idea of having the player do everything but in reality it is incredibly hard to do and causes loads of frustration. On the other end, if your team is kicking you have to adjust the angle of your kick and power of your kick. This side isn't as bad and plays like a typical baseball flash game. Overall I would say I love the idea behind Hipster Kickball but in execution it gets a little messy and doesn't work quite right.
